Why this 'speach writer' smells like French cheese!

Are you looking for a speach writer or a speech writer?

Every month, more than 22,000 people who want to find speechwriting services online, search for ‘speach’ instead of ‘speech’.

Speach and 199 other tricky words

So if you’re here because you entered ‘speach’ instead of speech, you’re not alone. Not by a long chalk.

In fact, a report by grammar and composition expert, Richard Nordquist shows that speech is one of the most commonly misspelled words in the English language.

It’s not a big deal. Just a little typo. Spelling it with the ‘ea’ makes it look like it belongs aside ‘teach’ and ‘beach’. But instead, you need to think of a little speechwriting leech! (A quick check confirms that the domain name leechwriter.co.uk is available if anyone’s interested.)

A useful spelling and grammar resource

As a thanks to Mr Nordquist, I should also point out that he offers lots more practical grammar and composition advice on the About Education page.

Helping you with speaches and speeches!

So now you can see why this page is here… I wouldn’t want you to miss out on getting the help you need just because of the odd letter in five.

You can click straight through to find the speechwriting service you need.

A bit of a whopper!

Oh, and by the way, everyone makes spelling mistakes and typos. Like when I insist on changing the second ‘m’ for an ‘n’ in ‘dilemma’!

Not long ago I found a real whopper in this very blog. I saw that what should have been the ‘no-brief speechwriter’ was actually the ‘no-brie speechwriter’. Pity that poor writer who has to work without cheese!

So, if you need any help with your next speach or speech, with or without a side serving of French cheese, do please let me know. You can call me on 0115 8284986, or send me more information via the UK Speechwriter contact form.
